Drop-Dead Red
Various matte reds from crimson to luscious wines were spotted on the runway this season. The trick to pulling off this look: Find the right shade for your skin’s undertones. Check the insides of your wrists. If your veins are bluish, then your undertones are cool, making blue-based and brick-red shades more flattering on you. If they’re greenish, go for orange-y or tomato-hued reds since you have warm undertones.
LipTip: Red hues need to be applied carefully. Use a lip brush when slicking one on to help prevent bleeding or smudges.
